Question: Why do you like working with children?

I’ve thought about this a lot. My mom babysat when I was a kid and I’ve just always enjoyed having kids around. I want more than anything to be a good parent. It feels like there’s just something in my genes that demands that I take care of small people. Babysitting them is great, tutoring them is great, even being a therapist for this is great for me. Kids are loud and gross and I completely understand why not everyone likes them, but a very fundamental part of who I am just needs to be a caregiver. My cats help in the meantime.
