Hi! 🙂 I’m always be fascinated by the complexity of mind. However, when I decided to study psychology, the main reason was that I wanted to understand why people suffers of mental problems. This my motivation was mainly due the fact that my cousin (very young at age, he was 18 years), had a mental problem and my most wish was to help him. However, during my degree I realized that many times, organic causes can induce this kind of problems. So I started to be interested in the biology of the cognitive processes, where in my opinion there is the origin of every cognitive process and to look at what happens in the brain while I’m engaged in cognitive processes, like a memory task or a attention task, for example.

      All the best,
      Maria

      Hi,

I was always really interested in how we think and people think completely differently. I was particularly interested in how some people thought it was okay to commit crimes and others didn’t. This is what led to me to study psychology in the first place which then opened up a whole new set of things to study!
