For a long time I did not think so but now that I have been fully qualified for a few years, I would say most definitely it was worth it, I am starting to reap the rewards of a decent wage and feel competent, confident and satisfed in my job now.
What I would say is when you are thinking about a career, you are best to do something that 1. You are good at and 2. That you enjoy. Or as close to satisfying those 2 things as is possible.
Some of the most financially successful and happy people I know in life didn’t go to uni, they did trades and started businesses instead. It depends what you want in life!
