• Question: As someone who studies the brain, do you believe the biological approach in psychology is the most credible, or would you argue that an approach like the cognitive approach needs to be considered also?

Hi! 🙂 That’s a really good point! I believe that it’s the most credible for the kind of approach, which is closes to the science and thus, it allows to control for many confounding variables affecting the results in the studies. However, I think that a more integrated approach is the best one to adopt. Indeed, I believe that the human being is very complex, so to adopt only one approach to study him, it doesn’t to allow to capture his entirety and thus it can’t allow to help him totally. In other words, we will have only a partial vision of a problem if we don’t consider the human beings from several perspectives.
      All the best,
      Maria
