• Question: Is it difficult working on your PhD ?

      Yes! But it is also really fun, I love it. You have a lot of freedom with a PhD, so I designed my entire project and I can essentially change it if I want, it’s completely up to me. That’s great, but then when things go wrong it does make it feel a little like it’s my fault! My supervisor once pulled me in for a chat when I was struggling and reminded me that it’s a group effort and she is just as responsible for me doing well, so that really helped! It’s all about having a passion for what you do and a good support system.
