Sarah from Bay House School and Sixth Form was nominated for their thoughtful questions in a live chat, for example asking Daniel: “You mention negative affects, but have you found any positive effects of conspiracy theories for people?” “I was genuinely impressed by the questions they asked,” said one psychologist, “and they gave me an intelligent response, prompting my own thinking about the issue.” As the student winner, Sarah will receive a certificate and a gift voucher. They’ll be battling it out tomorrow to win your VOTE for the £500 prize money. What would they do with the money if they won? Daniel would: make an animation to highlight the darker side of conspiracy theories, and a workshop where students will become a “Conspiracy Theory Psychologist” for the day Claire would: buy drinking goggles that make you feel and act as though you are drunk, and run alcohol awareness workshops in schools Amy would: buy equipment to run some workshops on understanding Neurodiversity and Autism Who do you want to see crowned winner?
